This is the special slipcased edition including the two books published by Nagasawa and Morel. Each book had been published separately in an edition of 750.
Very faint scratch on the front cover (hardly noticeable). AP acquired directly from Aron Morel.
Edition of 750 with 5 covers of each 250. Very slight wear on the top and bottom left edges of the back cover.
Following on from MÖREL’s live book-making station at Offprint 2023 with Antony Cairns, the publisher reprinted the edition in 2025. FREE PLAY is a project about improvisation and spontaneity that aims to demystify the bookmaking process. The publication presents a series of black and white photos taken during the artist’s trip through Japan.
The edition came in 3 variants of each 20 (Black coding form, Green program sheet and Green coding form)
Mosaic of 20 inkjet printed punch cards measuring each 22X10cm. The recto side shows 19 images and 1 text page cards, the verso is assembled into a large mosaic image (4X5) measuring 88X50 cm in total.
