There are 3 different editions, each with a different print and a different book cover/obi, each in an edition of 10. This one is the grey edition. Book is signed on the back of the horizontal obi.

For this project, Doan na Champassak mined his personal collection of Parkett, a highly influential contemporary art magazine published between 1984 and 2017. Rather than focusing on the magazine's editorial content or commissioned artworks, he isolated 95 double-page spreads of gallery advertisements extracted exclusively from the publication's first 22 issues (spanning 1984 to 1989).

By re-contextualizing these commercial gallery promotions as autonomous artworks, the book charts an alternative, market-driven history of 1980s postmodern and conceptual art. It highlights the early promotion of major figures like Ed Ruscha, Richard Prince, Cindy Sherman, Louise Bourgeois, and Marcel Broodthaers.

The selected advertisements are visually cohesive, frequently reflecting the stark, minimalist, and text-heavy aesthetic of the 1980s conceptual art scene, where typography and language often dominated the visual space over traditional imagery.
